Cand primesti zeci de newslettere de la diverse companii care incerca sa-ti vanda un produs, un serviciu sau doar sa iti arate cat de tari sunt ei, e simplu sa le dai ignore sau delete pentru ca … toate sunt la fel. Vor ceva de la tine si iti arata asta in cel mai evident mod posibil. Dar cand dai peste e-mailuri care te fac sa citesti pana la sfarsit si sa-ti doresti ca mesajul sa fi fost mai lung, inseamna ca ai dat de aur. Unul dintre acestea l-am primit din partea celor de la Ello.co.

Newsletterul de la Ello.co nu este singurul exemplu, desigur, insa astfel de “surprize” sunt putine. Am ales sa vorbesc despre Ello, pentru ca mi-am facut cont in retea, mizand pe ei ca vor face o treaba buna (am eu o teorie conform careia Ello are potentialul unei posibile alternative la facebook) si iata ca tocmai am primit prima confirmare.

  • Filter adult content: turn it on or turn it off
  • Extra super surprise awesome emoji thingy that Matt built

– tonul discursului si slangul sunt perfect alese pentru audienta careia li se adreseaza

– cuvintele si expresiile ca cele de mai jos, nu doar ca te fac sa zambesti, ci sunt extrem de bine alese pentru a transmite mesajul lor, care s-ar traduce: “suntem simpli, curajosi si awesome. iar tu esti unul de-al nostru”.

  • feels like we’re throwing the best party on the internet ” – apartenenta la un grup/comunitate. S-ar traduce: “Uite cat de tari suntem, toata lumea vorbeste despre noi, iar tu esti cu noi pe val!”
  • “awesome” –  nu exista cuvant mai awesome decat awesome 🙂
  • “stayed up all night”, “huge strides” –  lucram pentru tine si depunem eforturi sa te facem fericit. 
  • for people who weren’t hugged enough as children” – aawww, isn’t that cute?” au gasit o posibila cauza a spamului.
  • slang: “squashed some bugs“, “bugging you“, ” awesome emoji thingy” – who talks this way in emails? 😀
  • Matt built” – te face sa te intrebi cine e Matt? poate il si cauti..

– si bineinteles, incheierea “Much love.” care cuprinde in 2 cuvinte toata filosifia lor despre userii platformei.

Daca as avea ceva de vandut, oferit pe internet, asa as vrea sa vorbeassca si comunitatea mea despre e-mailurile trimise de mine. Great work! Makes me wonder: oare acest e-mail a fost un efort sustinut din partea mai multor oameni (sau cel putin unul) care au stat sa elaboreze un e-mail atat de cool sau a fost doar un tip barbos si hip care si-a tras laptopul aproape si intr-un excel de zel, a scris aceasta notificare? 🙂 Daca as stii ca e a doua varianta, as vrea sa il cunosc. He knows some stuff I would like to hear more about. 🙂
